Government Claims Have Specific Requirements And Procedures

We have represented employees and employers adjudicate government claims brought before governmental agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (Labor Board).  The EEOC and DFEH, federal and state government agencies, respectively, handle discrimination and harassment claims.  The Labor Board handles unpaid wages, overtime and other labor claims such as missed rest or meal periods and inaccurate time records.  Each of these governmental agencies are very unique and have their own filing and procedure requirements that must be carefully followed.  Completing documents correctly is very important and could be very costly.  Time deadlines must be strictly met by claimants and respondents.  Providing responsive information and documents that adequately support your position is also very important.
